CPHT Blog PageCPHT expands to Plymouth (Sept 2009)In October 2009 the CPHT, HPD course will be taught in Plymouth as well as Bristol. The training will be shared by David Newton and Matthew Cahill. Matthew Cahill is an experienced practitioner and founder of the Observatory Practice. He trained at CPHT and has lectured in Bristol for several years.
Hypnotherapy Accreditation – The National Qualifications Framework (NQF) (June 2008) In 2008 CPHT was granted independent accreditation by NCFE enabling further courses to be fully accredited, specific areas in CBT, SFBT and NLP, important to Career Professional Development. Our CBT skills course is designated NQF equivalence Level IV (see advanced courses). NQF is currently being replaced by the qualification and Credit framework QCF (this will not affect our accreditation process). Find out more:
HPD gets Open University Approved Credit rating (Feb 2008) 45 points at Undergraduate Level 1 (FHEQ Level 4/SCQF Level 7) This provides an endorsement of the quality, amount and level of the learning within the framework for Higher education Qualifications in England, Wales and Northern Ireland (FHEQ) and credits for the course.
Students receive their award from the NCH, and in addition can download a certificate confirming the credit award from the OU website at: www.open.ac.uk/credit-rating
